First pull out of my first booster (I used to open them from the bottom to see what the huges were) was Aspect of Bahamut and Griffon Cavalry. I can't remember the commons and uncommons, that was just memorable, and I still try to play with those pieces as often as possible. First pulls from other sets:

Blood War-Marilith
Deathknell-Beholder
Aberrations-Frenzied Berserker (never pulled another one after that though!)
Unhallowed-Large Ice Elemental (they can't all be roxzorz!!!1111oneone)
Night Below-Dire Tiger
Underdark-Aspect of Kord
Angelfire-Thri-Kreen Barbarian

And I've never opened the black and white carded sets. So what were your first pulls?

heh, 2nd pull was a couatl. Good stuff from that case, Large Blue, Gold, all the good pieces I like I ended up pulling from that one case (I started playing after DK was off the shelf, heh).

Wow, that was a while back ago...

IIRC, my first two Rares were a Troll and an Owlbear. I don't have a clue as to the first Commons/Uncommons. The Troll and Owlbear only stood out because they were Large.

Ahhh, the good "old" days.

If I tried hard enough, I could piece together the Unc/C, but maybe some other time Razz
First rares were Medusa, Minotaur, Troll and Large Earth Elemental. I was so disgusted with how they looked that I didn't buy another booster 'till GoL, though it was actually later than that, as I believe Aberrations was on the shelf and Deathknell came out soon after.
