Common and Uncommon pulls for prerelease Empty
PostSubject: Common and Uncommon pulls for prerelease   Common and Uncommon pulls for prerelease EmptyWed Feb 21, 2007 2:23 pm

Looking at the commons and uncommons (possibly some rares) that could we real nice to pull at the prerelease:

Air Mephit:

Only 13points, speed 12, 2 uses of breath weapon, and pushback. Need to kill fooder? Here is your man! Need to move your opponates peices into a better position for a charge? here is your man! Its tech plus fooder removel all together at bargain price.

Marid:

While little expensive and can have a hard time hitting. He is abit more of tech peice against a fire heavy squad but drowed and the fire reisted can be helpfull. (rare?)

Wild Elf Warsinger:

This piece is amazing! For 9 points you give every one of you figures in site Powerful Charge +10 and any undead within 6 squares takes 5 damage when activating. Plus Aura of Fear 2 makes this guy a super nice package. Do remeber when building your band though his abity as it reads will effect your own undead also.

Inspired Shock Trooper:

Everyone needs fooder and activations. With abit of extra tech with psionics makes this chick a good way to fill in points.

Bugbear Gang Leader:

Nice cheap commander with a solid comander effect. Plus pair him up with that Wild Elf from earlier and a those fooder peice just might do more damage then your opponate thought.

Fire Mephit:

Only 13 points speed 10 with flight and 2 cone attacks. Can we say fooder killer? This guy speeds to where you need him and can kill or force morale checks on your opponates fooder peice fast and for cheap.

Redspawn Arcaniss:

Decent caster with plenty of range damage. Keep in mind this is the only character in the set with Fireball and with only a hand full of fire imune figures.

Tiefling Warlock:

Fooder killer or just some range damage support. Bad news is its only range 6 so best to keep something between it and your opponate.

I was basing this off notes not the spoilers page.

The Dwarf Battlerager can cause some suprisingly large amounts of damage for a 17 point figure.

The Wild Elf Warsinger is amazing for the cost.

The Blessed Hunter makes a pretty sturdy uncommon with the ability to deal 50 damage on a charge, or 60 with a smite evil.

The Cormyran War Wizard is capable of devastaing amounts of damage as well, and there are plenty of spellcasters in the set to support him with.

The Bat Familiar could prove to be a useful companion to many of the spellcasters in the set, particularly Strahd, the High Inquisitor, and Lyrandar Skyfire Captain.

The Tiefling Warlock has proven to be a fairly reliable short ranged threat in my playtesting. I can't wait to pair a couple of them up with a Red Wizard just for fun.
