First warband?

I'm just curious, before you started playing competitively or honing your skills at home games, what was the first warband you ever played? The first one I ever played was:

Demonic Gnoll Archer
Ogre Skirmisher
Deathlock
Tiefling Blademaster
I forget what else (I'll update if I can remember!)

First band I ever brought to league was:

Storm Silverhand
Half-Elf Bow Initiate
Valenar Nomad Charger
Elf Swashbuckler
Voice of Battle
Aramil, Adventurer
Xeph Warrior

Obviously I started a bit later than most people, and didn't know about sites like maxminis and hordelings where I could find some interesting warband strats and see what's up with the meta. I still play my for-fun bands, and have a lot of fun with them. But since starting competitive play, I find I can't in good conciense put a HEBI on my warband or even look at elf swashbuckler anymore. Haha.

So back to my original question, what was your first warband?

Right off the bat? It was one that a friend had set up for me (he wanted to introduce the game to me). It had an Ogre Ravager, a couple Orc Raiders, Half-Orc Assassin, a Cleric of Gruumsh/Orc Druid...maybe both...but that's all I can really remember.

He played an Elfy band with the Brass Dragon, Unicorn, Evermeet Wizard, Greycloak Ranger, Moon Elf Fighter and I don't remember what else.

I won, but only barely.

We played for quite a while using a bastardization of the rules with 3d terrain in huge scale games (4-5,000 points) but the first 200 point band I put together was:
1/2 Orc Fighter
Duergar Champ x3
Zakya Rakshasa
Chrall
Timber Wolf
Dire Rat

We hated tiles and never even bothered to learn the tiles rules. It wasn't until War Drums and the advent of maps that we started playing actual skirmish games.
