Warband Challange I Round 1

Ok you all now how to vote. Pick your winner for each game, Pick band 1 or 2

Since there is an odd number of games, this will be a double elimination tournament. Meaning, you have to loose 2 times before you are out.

Tiefling gives the nightwalker 19-20 crits and 4 CR for initative bonus.
Not much can fit with the Nightwalkers so I added the Firebelcher for cheap autodamage,
no matter what they are going against he can still damage them (except immune fire, then
nightwalker will just cone of cold them). Orc Druid casts Snake's Swiftness on Nightwalker
for more damage. Cursed Spirit Helps with Nightwalker's spells and can get flanks easily.
Orc Warriors are there for screening and trying to grab VPs.

King's road allows the nightwalker to get into the forest have +4AC from cover,
cast his spells in melee if he chooses (Finger of death, anyone?) and also his support
can walk away from attackers AoO free if they need to run.

I like:

Match1: Band 1, Firebeltcher + Orc Druid is the difference. 60 autodamage to the opposing Nightwalker, And 1's Nightwalker has snake's swiftness to increase the chance of kill the other one first. Orc champion will never hit the nightwalker, he needs 19s or 20s.

Match2: Band 1, Red wizard is 63 and an easy kill. Vlaakith is actually going to do some damage to the slow moving Thayan Knight and Zhent Fighters.

Match3: Band 1, THe orc Wizard really does nothing to help the nightwalker out. Dolous Blow negates the Tiefling Captain's Commander effect. Vlaakith will have no problem putting some damage on the rest of 2's warband.

Game 1: Band 1

The Redspawn is great in epic, with the autodamage. The Orc Champion in band 2 has a shot at taking down the Redspawn or Orc Druid, but it will not do much more than that before being destroyed. Even if it does take down one of the two, either the Redspawn or Orc Druid will be able to change the outcome of the game, but the rest of band 2 isn't as likely to make such a difference.

Game 2: Band 1

I could see this going either way, but the frailty of the Red Wizard would require some excellent placement and control of initiative to get by. Band 1 has more damage output from the Nightwalker, which should be the deciding factor in the battle.

Game 3: Band 1

The Orc Wizard isn't a bad idea against many epic warbands, but against another Nightwalker, Dolerous Blow won't help. Nice idea, but its a better matchup for band 1.
