| I don't know that I'd call it "crap". The chance to gain 20 HP per attack and 40 HP per round is quite nice.
If you sent it out to harass the mid-level/low level threats, you could bump your HP up by quite a number since there doesn't seem to be a limit on the Con Drain...It also doesn't seem to matter how many HP your target had to begin with.
Stall against the opponent's hitters and play clean-up with the Wraith gaining HP by the bucketload.
I'd say it's more "interesting" than "promising," though. | |

| Con Drain's only on the 2nd attack it looks like. But other than that, I really like this piece. The hp's are kind of low for a 186 point fig, but with incorporeal, he has some staying power. And he heals himself at least 10 hp's back. I'm planning on running duals for fun one night, just to see how different people could deal with him. Multi-beholder neuter. | |

| Whoops. So it would seem. My brain gets locked on weird things sometimes and has trouble moving to the correct place after that.
Still, you are allowed to use your attacks in any order. So you could always chew through weenies with Con Drain and choose to use that on any AoO as well. Since both attacks are at +21 you're not losing anything like on many second attacks. | |

| Yeah the dual +21 is pretty sweet as is the incorporeal, but the 105 hp is rough for a 186 point figure....i'd like to try it out anyways for fun  | |

| All that depends on how the Incorporeal rolls go.
Tordek, on the other hand, will be more problematic, but at 240 points, I'd expect him to be able to stand toe-to-toe with something that runs <190 and come out on top.
The best bet is to keep something inbetween Tordek and the Wraith or to find another way to keep the Wraith's Reach working. | |

| the hit points kind of hurt. I was thinking about running an epic dread wraith, strahd (non-epic), beholder, and either a forgepriest or cadaver collector. Seemed like fun. Maybe Vol to keep with the mild theme. Undead torch would be wicked on epic DW. If you can get a bloodstar off on a cruicial piece (doubtful, but you never know!) it would be a rip-fest. Or at least really fun . | |

That would make Tordek's day a bit rougher. If you run the Wraith in tandem with the Beholder then you get to bump the Wraith's HP with Negative Damage and zap Tordek or slide him when the opportunity seems reasonable.
I still think I'd put my money on Tordek though. | |

| Oh yeah, I definately would guess tordek in most instances, though, I don't have many people around here who play tordek (I'm sure once I brought a band with a DW in it, 1 guy would bring it for no reason and I'd get paired against him.) so I'm not *as* worried about it. I can't wait to try this one out, though. | |
