Thoughts on my Keep of the Mad Wizard Empty
PostSubject: Thoughts on my Keep of the Mad Wizard   Thoughts on my Keep of the Mad Wizard EmptyFri May 16, 2008 7:54 pm

Hello I created this map with Dungeon Crafter 3 so It isn't top notch.

Thoughts on my Keep of the Mad Wizard Map_wi10

Key:

Dark gray squares=doors
red/yellow=bedding
white=statues
brown=tables, alter etc

the 2 rooms that are on the top right and bottom right are the holding pens for the wizards freaks he has been sending out to make havoc in niehboring towns.

My question is that where would the best places to place the wizards guards and beasts?

Ideas on special beasts? The party is 5th level.

Kilsek does help me run the games with my 2 cousins and a couple firnds so that is a help but I wanted to get other ideas.

thanks

Pretty cool that would look awesome in Dwarven Forge. What about encounters, do you have list?

For 5th level, there are a LOT of different creatures that would be appropriate...first, who does the wizard feel comfortable having as guards/servants? Is he a "humans only" kind of guy, does he employ goblinoids, use created undead, etc? Try to tailor the encounters to fit the wizard himself. An evocation specialist isn't going to have the same guards as a necromancer, obviously - but even if you're just talking about generalist wizards no two are going to be alike...
