In case this happens to be your first stop and you haven't already heard, today marks the passing of Gary Gygax.

You should already know who he was and what he did for us.

I cannot count the number of hours that I spent with my AD&D books when I was younger. Without Mr. Gygax, our lives would all be much smaller. But thanks to his work (and the work of many others as well, but Mr. Gygax is often credited as being the driving force behind it) we have been afforded the opportunity to live dozens of heroic lives and maybe even to bring a bit of those personalities back to the real world with us.

Thank you for all you have given us. You will be missed.

I made sure to dedicate our last rpg session to Gary...thanks for all the years of fun with D+D...the game wouldnt be the same without him....rest in peace Gary!!

At our weekly game session the sunday after Gary passed away,we posted a photo of him on the wall next to the game table and did a toast to him.

His legacy will live on.
