All the polls have been leaving a bad taste in my mouth...

That sounded less bad before I typed it, but you get the idea. There are, IMO, too many Rares and that puts up a barrier between the older and established collector and the newer player just getting involved. There should be more Commons and Uncommons and it should have been designed like a real set (12 Commons, 24 Uncommons and 24 Rares) to keep accessibility to newer players.

At this point, I'm waiting to see what the rules look like for 2.0. If the minis from these terribly done groupings were still all that were getting redone, I doubt very seriously I would've bothered.

Oh absolutely. If this were the real, honest to goodness "All-Stars" I'd probably have put my entire collection up for grabs.

I've decided that I'm only gonna skirmish with stuff I'm keeping for RPG and if it's not competitive, I don't care. I'm not getting stuck with a bunch of rares like the Inspiring Marshal that nobody wants when they change the rules again in a couple years to match 5e.
