OK this 2.0 thing,

They are taking 60 minis from old sets and starting another version.
No morale saves?

Yes, they're taking some minis (all unhallowed, night below and DoD1 get auto-update), I guess somewhere around 300 at launch, and updating their stat cards into the new ruleset. They've said they want to keep their "original flavor" with them, so don't expect Wrackspawn to be Tier 1 (but it's not an impossibility..... Very Happy

Yeah, he was pretty high on the popularity scale as well, I'm thinking we'll see a lot of uniques voted in, depending on how they do it.

Well i hope they eventually make all figs into 2.0 ruleset. If they decide to not make them i would be willing to assist in making all post 2.0 backwards compatible into DDM 1.0!! (i guess it all depends on the new rules)

For some reason, the "reactor room" scenario (from Aliens) is playing in my head.

I'm thinking that the all-stars will be just that. Sixty of the more effective skirmish pieces (and not just fan favorites) that have seen play. The thought that the Orc Warrior might not make the cut because of Drow fanboys/girls is very unsettling. I don't think that's a likely outcome, but the chance for it to go that way just irritates me.

When DDM 2.0 goes live, there are supposed to be 300 pieces ready to play (I'm guessing that the actual number will be 305, though). Unhallowed, Night Below, Desert of Desolation, Dungeon of Dread, Starter Set and the All-Stars (man, I hate typing that).
