| I'm still waiting on pictures from the second one, but I know what they were for yesterday and today. Excitement! Item 1: Guardian Mummy LE/32pts UNCOMMON!! Item 2: Fire Archon. Think picture on the front of the DoD booster. Clear plastic, will have pics later today, when they're posted | |

| Feral Troll? I feel much better now. But, didn't Linnae confirm that it's the new (4.0) troll? Cryptic ********* games to not help you relate to the consumer!

That overshadows the G-Cube, and the FUGLY clear plastic on the Fire Archon irritates me again.

| In every set there's got to be bad and good. Otherwise the good won't look as good. Though, I personally like the fire archon. And nothing overshadows finally getting a G-Cube, and the fact that it's actually done right is such a positive factor. The fact they care enough to give fans what they've wanted before they pulled 1.0 down. G-Cube was the most anticipated piece *ever*, as far as I saw. If this set has an aboleth in it, I'll respect WotC so much more. | |

| I'll give WotC the props for the G-Cube. It's done pretty well from what I can see, and I am grateful for that.
And, from what I've been able to catch, the Feral Troll is the new Troll design in 4.0. So, while I still think it's ugly and goofy-looking, I have to acknowledge that at least a spot in the present game was found for it....so I'm kind of balanced out on the Troll.
But the Fire Archon? It's still FUGLY--almost everything with clear plastic is, and we still need a Large Fire Elemental as an Uncommon. I'm seriously hoping that the LFE is still in DeD along with my Medium Blue, Small Green and Medium White Dragons.

| Yeah, there are a few I'd like to see. One thing about my previous post I didn't quite realise, aboleths are huge (probably the set in july that's giant-themed. What, aboleths are giant ). However, a rust monster would finish up what everyone's been panting for. I *really* hope it's in there. I've been wanting me a rust monster since I started, if it's not in here, I've got until april. Not in there, I have until July, not in there, it's been way too long. Stats would be pretty easy in the current format, an attack with like 5 damage that gives you -2AC whenever it hits, constructs take double damage or something. Quick, to the point, all rust monstery goodness. -NOTE: 300 post+ club! Woot! | |

| I'm not at GenCon (hence why I had time to put up the pics ), got all these courtesy of Lalato's Gen Con Coverage. A lot of the articles came from Guy's GenCon reports, and I stole them all and posted them here, haha. But someone over on hordelings has multiple black robed raistlins he's trading for. I just can't figure out what I have to spare :/ | |

There was something weird like that...but I don't remember what it was.

| I tried finding DoD the module to see what may be in this, but I couldn't find it ANYWHERE for online read. Couldn't really find it for purchase anywhere either, makes me think wizards got ahold of all of them and did horrible things to them for almost revealing the secrets of the minis. | |

| Someone was talking about it on greyhaze's site or on Hordelings...Probably greyhaze's. I'm too tired to go back and check now, but I'll try to find it back tomorrow evening. | |

| I just double-checked the thread. I guess that there wasn't any such thing in the DeD series.
Efreet, Djinn, a few other things, but no Archon.

| I wouldn't mind an efreet. Not only did I never get the Angelfire version, it looks pretty bad (comparitively to how they could have done it, anyways). I got a djinn, but I would definately be down for a new one. This is supposed to be based on the module, at least as much as unhallowed had undead/spooky stuff. So probably around 10 is going to have to fit the theme. Thus far we've seen how many from the old module? None? | |

| I don't know that they were specifically going for the module...I just figured that it was a convenient tie-in with the name and for meeting the demand for "environmental" sets that some folks were wanting. | |

| Well, from what I remember somewhere somebody said it was supposed to be themed similarly to the module at least. I don't remember if it was official, and I should have filed something away. It may have given us a bit more insight as to more of this set. Thus far it seems pretty "desert" themed, but if we had the official module, we could find out whether or not it's "desert of desolation" themed. And hopefully we'll get pics tonight of something we don't have..... *checks watch* | |

| Well, any time I don't have to look at that Troll is good! The G-Cube wouldn't have been "bad" but I would prefer to see something that hadn't been shown already. | |

| Well, then again, we'd be getting a better hint at the stats, even if they used these 2 right out of the gates. I know the point cost and factions of the minis (see above) but I'd like to know a bit more about their design ideas and such that they usually post. I figure right now the G-Cube would probably have Conceal 6/11, due to it's "near transperancy" and the fact that this one doesn't even have a body floating in it standardly. Then it would have the same thing the ochre jelly had probably and bite back (maybe give you -1 to attack damage resistance applies, to reflect wrecking a magic weapon? ). And maybe Hard to Kill 11, due to it splitting in half if you kill it with a slashing attack. And then Ooze traits, of course. | |
