Orc Warriors are still attainable through the original Basic Game.

Those are the only ones that jump out at me, and it could just be that I've seen a fair amount of discussion about one figure or another, and not that it is a quality piece. Even then, depending on what your band is like, it's quite possible for a piece that isn't considered to be one of the better figures to fill a role better than most others.

And the Flameskull is typically run as part of a notorious band called "Octoskull".

I received a few more rares and c/uc tonight!! Couatl, Death Slaad, Magma Hurler and Tundra Scout. The only really noteable UC is Brass Samurai.(which i can see being used a few times)

Ah yes..pinky i read your list of competetive figures and i said "Wha? No Aspect of Kord?"
Then it dawned one me that for some reason only about half of my list was there...LOL
Will have it all fixed up in about 10 minutes :)

Oh yeah...Aspect of Kord and Couatl. Two great tastes that taste great together!!

Oh, and the Warforged Bodyguard has typically been replaced by the Dragonmarked Heir of Denieth. I still think that WB is on the edge of effectiveness, though. It's like using a standard screwdriver to work a Phillips head. It gets the job done, but it's not as effective as it could be.

LOL....i have used Kord a few times now with great effect...he is just amazing for his points. Really looking foward to try teaming up 2 kords. (just got my second one a few days ago) Kord and Couatl would be wicked together. All of those restances would give some him some stamina. And snakes swiftness [] [] is pretty sweet. A very solid start to a CG team.

Red, dont forget since the Coutl is a sorcerer, it can use higher level spell slots to cast lower level spells.

The Coutl can cast 6 snake swiftness spells:

2 from second level spell slot
2 from 3rd level slot
2 from fourth level

Very nasty combo there mystra....i have a bunch of new figures show up in the mail and will be updating this list tonight. (nothing too competitive though)

It's not tier-1, but marilith+thrall+vlaakith could be fun. Vicious damage output. Couatl+Kord is a LOT of fun. I find xen'driks are only good in heavy multiples though (I only have 2....)

Red, now that you've got a sizable list, it might be easier to look at them grouped by faction. I can only get a little way down before everything starts looking the same...
