| I'm not much of a fisher.
I did go one time when I was visiting family in Alaska, though. My father and I brought back 30+ of halibut filets...

I used to live in one of the few areas of canada that was legal to spearfish for Northern Pike. Wading through 2-3 feet of swamp like water looking through the brush piles for 5-10 pound northerns....very cool experience. I live in an area now that i am legally allowed to Bowfish for carp

Hehe i will get some bigger ones this year. That is just a pre-season fish from a year round season river that is 30 minutes from my house. I should get some Rainbows over 10 pounds this year.

| Hehe...nice one kilsek :) Well myself and two friends went out for a one night camp up in Haliburton for brook trout on a secluded lake i know about...Unfortunately we were too late in the season to catch any.(once the water warms up too much the Brookies move to 40+ feet and are impossible to catch) Oh well, a great time just to get out and have a few smokes The blackflies were absolutely terrible....never seen blackflies feed at night before! | |

| Yes blackflies do suck...some areas around here are just brutal...ah yes bass opener!! YAHOO!! Made it out for four hours this morning on a lake 3 minutes from my house. Only 2 picture worthy fish.. My buddy gary with a nice little smallmouth. And i pulled this largemouth out of some nasty thick cover. We had a few other fish on, and landed a couple of small bass and perch. | |

Caught a couple 4 pound pikes later on in the day. (too bad we were fishing for Bass )hahahahaha
