| Is It Just Me Or Does It Just Look Stupid And Just White,No Details At All ?
Hopefully,This Is Just a Bad Picture....
But My Guess Is That The Whole Focus Of That D&D Icon Is Flooding The Market With More Overcharged Drizzt's...
My Hope Was a Gargantuan Green And a LARGE WHITE !!!
Wake Up WOTC !!! Do a Large White Before a Huge Or Gargantuan One !!!

| I disagree but agree at the same time. The G.white is very well needed more in my collection I'm excited. But the human type eyes on it has to go!!!! Boooo | |

| Agreed. But they did end up doing the large white before the gargantuan. I'm excited about drizzt re-release, he's a lot of fun in epic, especially with lyrandar. I'm also looking forward to the semi-decent paint job it appears wulfgar will have. Pants! Yay! I'm hoping they're giving a little time to put out green so they can put Raist with it, because they want to test out iconic humans with gargantuan dragons as per the novel. We'll see, I guess. | |

| I think that the delay on the Green is because they're pretty sure that it will sell. That's why they're testing with the Orcus (whatever size he may end up being) Pack. Even if Orcus tanks, they'll probably be able to recoup (at least partially) with a Gargantuan Green (especially if they put a Black Robed Raistlin in there).
It's also a motivational issue. With a desirable release left in Limbo, we (as consumers) might be more willing to keep purchasing other products. Think of it as a "carrot on a stick" approach.

| Can They Really Afford To Waste 6 Months Of Potential Profits For Such An Unpopular Choice ? A Demon Or Devil Pack With One Of The Evil Gods Sounds Much "Safer"... | |

| It's worth it, because of that "loss of profits" for a few months, they not only build up anticipation, and with the exceeding demand for raistlin, and the fact that the large green will be the last chromatic, not only will they be able to squeeze in a "test run" for other stuff. So if they do well with this, and build up anticipation for the large green, none's the harm, I say. And the "gargantuan" orcus is looking better and better every day. Large Orcus? Oooohhhh, I hope so. | |

| The Gargantuan Green won't be the last. We're still missing the Gargantuan Red...which would probably have to be another DragonLance set built up around Pyro(?)--the one that Ember blasted into oblivion in her rage.
As for "wasting" six months of profit. How much does the Archfiends Drizzt cost on the secondary market? How much does Icingdeath (including Drizzt and Wulfgar) cost? This product was carefully conceived...Don't doubt that for a second.

| Ah, gargantuan red. That I would love to see. Though, if it does build up anticipation, and at the same time allow them to put out a certain amount of gargantuan/icons sets per year, I don't doubt they'll put another icon betwixt Cyan and Pyros. I do like how they used the Icingdeath name, though I wish they could have done it from the beginning. Gargantuan black would have been great with some dragonlance pieces (at least the ones by the well when he popped out) would have been amazingly good. Especially if they all had epic cards and you could build a warband around them or something. Caramon would be a *great* CG/LG beater that I would love to see (frenzied+wulfgar+caramon=triple frenzied, back in black). But alas, I begin to ramble. | |

| I've got to admit that a Dragon Highlord (Kit or not) would have been pretty welcome with the Blue, but I could really do without the fleet of Gully Dwarf vermin that would come with the Black.
*shudder*
I don't even want to think about what Gully Dwarves would do to the warband that included them...

Trophies Check it out. The Clawborns are good, the Jarl is nifty, but Icingdeath is fantabulous!

| I bought it today and it's really cool! Icing death is a bit smaller than the black and blue dragons though, but it is ok since the white dragon is supposed to be smaller overall. The Drizzt and Wulfgar figures are really cool also!
Buy it! |

| If absolutely *nothing* else, the better sculpted Drizzt and the (much) better painted wulfgar with the maps (which look great) seem worth it right now to me. I love Icingdeath, but I have a big fondness for all the display/scenario items WotC has put out. I would have paid a chunk for a dragon statue, beacuse I'm cheesy like that. Add in the fact you can use it for skirmish *and* RP *and* the fact that it looks like evermelt is skirmish-legal, and I'm way sold. Going to go pick mine up today, hopefully! | |

| As long as buy.com honors the preorder (some folks have been having problems with them), I'm set. I just read through some of the prior posts...Wow. I was way off base. There was far too much optimism. | |

| I just went out tonight, and I saw the icingdeath pack. Wow. The wings look amazing. Wulfgar's painted *much* better. The maps look spectacular. The preview of the book is kinda whether you like salvatore novels or not, but everything else is solid. If you don't like gargantuan dragons, don't get it. That's the reason to get this. If you don't like drizzt, don't get this, because he plays a strong theme. If you like either, it seems worth it. I like both, so I'm set | |

| It's popular cause people need a whole chromatic dragon collection and then with the Drizzt books as well. As far as I know if people are complaining bout that, why haven't I heard of asking for metallic dragons as well. I would love to have a gargantuan silver or gold to my collection. |

But, I just realized that I can make an Oreo!
