| Even with all the spread sheets and lists out there do you still find yourself tradin/buying minis that you didn't think you had enough of, until you go through your bins/boxes? Well, I just realized I have 4 Night hags, 6 Snig Worg Riders, and 8 thayan knights (these I dont mind-Forgotten Realms :) ) Has it ever happend to you? | |

| I use an excel spread sheet. I used to use the MM one but it seemed everythime I took a bit too long to click on update it would wipe out my whole list. I grew real tired of that and stayed with the excel sheet. | |

| I don't buy cases so I am pretty much able to remember what minis I have and how many. I make mental notes when I store them. I probably have only 400-425 minis, right now, so its not such a challenge to remember. I also use the have/want lists on maxminis. | |

| No problem, I'm quite organized :-) . My lists are updated as soon as I get a new mini. | |

| I generally have a pretty solid idea of the numbers of minis that I have. Every once in a while, though, I manage to acquire a high number of Uncommon minis.
That doesn't much bother me, though. I repaint some of the Uncommons, and most of the ones that I have "extras" of are sculpts that I really liked to begin with.

| I use Maxminis and Bifur to keep track of everything. Everytime I get a new mini the list gets updated before it gets to join its buddies in my storage containers. |

| I use Maxminis and KBales Warband Generator. It tells me how many of each I have, what my collection is worth (by latest Madda numbers) and how many I have total. It pulls right from Maxminis, so only have to update once... |

| I use Excel no matter what the game I'm currently collecting. So far I have near a 1,000 HC and 1 D&D miniature. SO I don't need an Excel spreadsheet for D&D quite yet. I'm enjoying the D&D books however and trying to come up with different ways to create a character. |

| LoL! We use notepad, DDMManager MM and the rest as well.
I have one of those Black and white dot type school note books that I just erase and edit as I get new minis

| I need to do major updates to my excel workbook and my MSWorks database files. I just realized that it's been several sets since I've even attempted that!
If you've got MSWorks, I recommend the spreadsheet program in there. It's not as effective as Excel, but it works reasonably well and is pretty simple...too bad you can't quite keep track of all the information (like price/valuation history) through as many avenues as you can with Excel.
