| And lo, I have registered. What was once a simple one-website thing now encompasses four DDM-sites. My how times change.
I figure those of you from Maxminis know me by now... |

| Welcome to the site!
Kilsek should put you in the confirmed trader group soon. He checks everyone out to protect the site from scammers.

Hi Rak ! Same for me, 3 DDM sites to check everyday... Not counting other non-DDM-related sites. When will I sleep ???

| Maxminis doesn't seem to be in bad shape. Traffic even looks to be growing since July. It's bound to stay the unofficial n°1 site IMO (not counting the Wotc forum here).
Greyhaze's site sees far less traffic but that was to be expected. It was made as a spoiler site, so it will have bursts of activity when spoilers appear, or a few weeks before set release ; and it will be more or less dormant for the rest of the time, especially after set release...

| Maxminis seems to be under terrible management. I don't think anyone likes the direction it took last year, and yet there it is. And what does all the restrictions placed by WotC on those boards give the average visitor? |

| The problem I have with Maxminis--the moderator has the last word. Some moderators are nothing but spammers (see the skirmish forums) | |

| Well, it seems at least that Host is online far more often than before, and does seem to do whatever he can to improve the site.
For the restrictions, they are self-imposed by Host and LCS, to keep Lidda and Shoe coming to the site. It would not be a bad idea IF Lidda and Shoe did pop up quite often, but that's not the case at the moment. Either they don't have the time, or maybe they don't care, or maybe they have been "instructed" to mainly participate on the WotC forum... It's true that these "restrictions" don't seem to work ; they resulted in the creation of Greyhaze forum, fractionning the community a bit more.
Not much interesting right now, that's true. But it's no surprise because it's just after set release and everybody is busy trading, buying to complete the set, building new warbands, sorting minis, etc. When NB previews appear, traffic will be back...

| Ok I will officially say this and you may quote me if you wish. Maxminis has become WOTC's xxxxx! Allow me to ellaberate: WOTC employees get thier asses kissed by the MM higher ups and expect the members to do so. Dreamblade comes out and MM buts a game system on the site and moves the dreamblade forums a top of the site (since moved) Maxminis has turned the wrong page in my book. I see why members left for elsewhere. | |

I Entirely Agree.THe Focus On Dreamblade Was Stupid. No One But Host Wanted It And Even If DBM Is Apparently Not Very Popular ( One The Site And In Sales ),It Is Maintained. The Site Had Already Been Tarnished With The Merger Issues And I Do Believe DBM Was The Death Blow. They Have a Chat,But Most Are Against It...A Sad State Of Affairs Indeed...

| Does anyone have any objective sales numbers for Dreamblade? In Sweden it doesn't sell much and I never see anyone playing it. |
