Here is a reaper mini Ogre mage i painted a few years ago. I decided to go with a green skintone rather than brown or purple.

Very nice, I have the mini (unpainted) I always thought it should be a monk though.

Very nice job, he makes the turtles look wimpy. I would chosen another weapon or made him a Monk, as Kil suggested.

P.S: Why are Ogre Mages always oriental-looking in D&D?

If I recall correctly, there is a version of the Ogre that originated from oriental mythology. I am not sure if all Ogres had magical abilties in that mythology or not, but either way, I guess the Ogre Mage is a nod to that myth. Maybe both Ogre Mages and their more savage kin are seperate creatures in oriental mythology as well, but am not sure.

Oh, and nice paint job, RedSkullz!

Strangely enough, Ogre Mages are not from Kara-Tur or Rokugan. As to the myths, that was my thought as well. I will do some digging up, I have no books on Oriental Mythology, but of many other classical myths.
