Very interesting t-rex...the color shceme is very different. Did you use metallic paint on the spine? Man i want to do a DDM repaint now. (i have yet to do a repaint...too much unpainted pewter laying around :) )

The body is something like "buttercup", the belly is "parchment" and the armored plates are just a gold metallic. I used Real Brown (Folk Art) for the wash everywhere except the armor plates and back because I really wanted the gold to stand out.

Ahh folk art paints cool... I have some of the first models i ever painted from years ago that are still in great condition (primed and sealed and only folk art paints!) Really for the price of them vs gaming paints, they are a much better deal.

For the most part, they really are great. But, because they're mass produced for nationwide distribution, you don't always get the freshest paints. Once they start going bad, they really go bad fast.

But, for the price, whoo-boy! And if you just happen to be a complete hack using busted twigs to paint, they're even better!

Very Happy

Man I love dinosaurs and that is an interesting repaint. Nice selection of color by the way. Makes it interesting and different.

Thanks!

I was pretty unsure about the yellow when I started. I don't really like the color to begin with and using that much of it (paired with gold no less) was really making me nervous.

But, somehow, it came together. Now, I just need that Celestial Trike that I can Infernalize.... Twisted Evil
