thanks... had been thinking about "keying" my own tiles (a la Adv. Hero-quest tiles)
then saw this tutorial...

now I don't know what to do. I was going to (and did) get some mdf board cut/etched in various shapes/sizes with 1" gridlines. Instead of keying them I am planning on backing them w/ that (spungy/rubbery) no-slip drawer liner stuff. (ifyaknowwhatImean)

Now: I'm thinking of putting a grid on white vinyl tiles and just backing them w/ a non-slip "widget".

Lots of ideas, but no friggin' time.
