"So if I have a creature with speed 6 that is 12 squares from one of my opponents creatures :

I can move 6 squares using his move action, then use my attack action to charge and move the next 6 squares to be adjacent to the target and make my basic melee attack?"

Is this true you get to move all that so a total of 18 if have speed 6?
