whip and hunter? As far as 100% aquatic go.... I don't really know. The way they stated on the skirmish cards for the kuo-toa make me think they may come out with more. I'll try to get a direct wording as soon as possible.

With as badly as aquatic minis have been called for, I'd say that's just about guaranteed that we'll be getting more aquatic minis.

I'm curious to see what we'll get in terms of maps and special abilities...but that's excellent timing with the DF pieces....Man, those look purty.

Now, put some Sahaugin on them....................................

The only thing I could think would be wrong with them putting out more aquatic minis is the fact that you won't be able to use certain aquatic minis that have been put out without the aquatic subtype on the skirmish card with the special abilities granted to aquatics (regular as opposed to hampered movement on a water map, whatever the case may be). It would be weird if the old kuo-toa didn't benefit from being in the water in some way. Or even the giant frog or something.

It would be weird, but not out of the established practices we've seen.

When is a Kobold not a Kobold? When is a Drow not a Drow? There are already rules gaffs of this nature. That's usually the key reason that folks call for revised stat cards every so often. I mean, it'd be great, but it's not really practical for all that.

Besides, after a few more sets and some more popularity growth, it won't matter much because the older figs (that contain more of the rules gaffs) will be relegated largely to collectors and it's possible to make exceptions within the rules for certain things that might need to be exempted (i.e. does/does not apply to creature X).
