Chainmail Tiefling Captain

Here is a tiefling captain i painted many years ago...i tried to use natural light to get a good picture and failed miserably...lol
Its worth a look anyways Wink

That certainly does look like the garrison.

Try more indirect light. That might help with the washed out look. Or just use your graphics program to drop the brightness level down a bit. I know that when I'm taking pictures, I always fuss with the brightness level to get a slightly better looking picture.

Is that metallic paint on the halberd, or did you use more of a NMM style?

Yes the amount of penetrating light is definitely the problem here. I was using my camera settings for the indoor halogen lighting.(nor did i set it to automatic)
I will get some better pics after my vacation and replace the ones here. As for the halberd its a metallic silver lightly drybrushed with metailic black to give it a worn look.

That's an interesting effect.

I might have to [s]steal the idea[/s] sample the fruits of your creativity...That would be very appropriate for a Slaughterpit Zombie Gnoll or two.
