Im not to sure what chainmail figures are
On ebay i won an auction that has chainmail figures and all of these threads are on Chainmail Figures
WHAT ARE THEY?

Dungeons and Dragons Chainmail are unpainted pewter miniatures made in 2000....many (some) of the figures are compatible with the new Dungeons & Dragons prepainted plastic minis.
D&D Chainmail is a game of its own...very similar to D&D miniatures.

im getting 5 chainmail minitures. it says they are coming with statcards, do you think they will be compatable with D&D Miniatures

There is a bunch of ddm/chainmail equivelent cards available for printing at the Wotc site. If you list the figs you have i could tell you whether or not there is a ddm stat card.

their prepainted, so im not sure if ill want to try to repaint them myselt
